Willie, a tall, lanky male named after the singer, Willie Nelson, looks like a lion because of his big head and regal stance. He was bred at a sprint racing kennel where dogs typically run shorter distances at faster speeds with very light weight sleds. A little shy and a real sweetheart, Willie usually runs in the middle of our team (and yep, you guessed it-Hoonah did bite his ear once but Willie is a forgiving kind of guy). He is a very hard worker with a huge appetite.
