Let's go hunting...I mean dog sledding! Raisin is part Alaska Husky and part English Pointer, and one of the hardest working dogs in the lot. She always wants to go and likes to run wheel next to the sled. People are often surprised when they first see her that she is a sled dog but if you saw her in harness, you'd have no doubts. Looking back at the history of mushing, there were many different breeds represented in dog teams-the key issue is that they want to be part of the team and love to pull!
