Clay, a middle-age male, is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever had at our kennel.  He gets along with all of the other dogs while being able to set healthy boundaries without fighting.  His ability to lead comes not so much from being the smartest dog but rather being incredibly attentive and devoted.  He is one of the calmest dogs out in the dog yard and standing on-line while the team is getting ready to go out on the trail but he is full of exuberance and the joy of life when we are on the move.  Clay loves to free-run around our leadership training loop where he will follow commands for gee (right) and haw (left) called out to him from a distance.
